Tyler Hayne Kelly, 21, of Kannapolis, NC passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, the 5th of October 2017. Tyler was a devoted, loving father, son, brother, and friend. All that knew him he was the life of the party. He brought laughter and joy to everyone. He loved his family and friends, Tyler’s two children were his world and his love was limitless.
Tyler is survived by his daughter, Kiya Kelly (4), his son, Camdyn Kelly (3); his father and mother, Tim Kelly and Connie Kelly; his sister, Amber and brother-in-law, Dustin Snow; his Fiancé, Kayley Sellers; Deidra Safrit, mother of Tyler’s children, Chris and Torri Safrit; brother, Queton Gulledge, brother Devin Blalock, (bm) Larita Eddie, sister Destiny Boulware, God sister Erica Curl; paternal grandparents, Red and Joann Kelly and maternal grandmother, Carol Holbrooks; two aunts: Diane Callicutt and husband, Gary; Kim Colpitts and husband, John; two uncles: David Holbrooks and Gary Holbrooks; aunt, Julie Holbrooks; six cousins: Cameron Callicutt, Brandon Callicutt, Gary Holbrooks, Christian Holbrooks, Kelli Bang, Brian Bang; three nieces, Serenitii Kelly, Gracelynn Snow, Lily Blalock, and one nephew, Jayton Gulledge.
Tyler had a heart of gold and could make you laugh even when you were down. He touched so many lives and he would always make it better, even when you think he couldn’t. We were all so blessed to have had him in our lives for 21 years. A service to celebrate Tyler’s life will be held 7:00 PM, Thursday, the 12th of October 2017 in the Historic Morehead Street Chapel of Ellington Funeral Service with Pastor Tony Wagner, presiding. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
