November 30, 1936 – January 9, 2021

Serafim Dimas, age 84, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was born on November 30, 1936, in Stenoma, Evrytania, Greece to the late Konstadinos and Eleni Dimas.

Serafim lived much of his life in Greece, however spent the last 8 years in the United States with his children and grandchildren.

Serafim was preceded in death by his wife, Konstadia, his brothers Efthimios and Ioannis, and his sister Stavroula Kavelas.

He is survived by his two daughters and son: Eleni Zaravelis and husband (John), Maria Dimas, and Konstandinos Dimas; his brother Evangelos; his sister, Marika Papadopoulou; his grandchildren: Dimitri Zaravelis and wife (Gabriela), Sammy Zaravelis, Niko Galatas, and Sammy Galatas; and his great-grandson, Yianni Zaravelis.

A private funeral service will be held for the family on Thursday, January 14 at 11:00 am at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Charlotte, NC.
