On August 17, 2017, Emile Dave St Claver Rowe passed away at the age of 53. He was born to Winiefred Kornegay and Coran Rowe in Ocho Rios, Jamaica West Indies.
Emile received his elementary education in Ocho Rios, he later migrated to the United States with his mother to continued his education and pursue his passion in clothing designer. He later became a highly acclaimed designer with an invaluable vision for unique fashion. He was diverse in his creativity and his innovative combination of fabrics, textures, and colors created unique and extravagant designs. For 27 years as fashion designer and consultant, he designed and dressed social elites in the West Indies, US, Canada, Africa and the UK. He created 162 clothing lines for some of the top celebrities all over the world. He was keen on researching current fashion and making predictions of future trends. More importantly, he was extraordinary in his recreation of fashion that would appeal to various types of customers and cultures. He was one the hottest trendsetter.
Emile has a beautiful wife, Grace Ann. He’s the father of Seven beautiful children and five wonderful Grandchildren. He loved his family with his whole heart.
After living and raising his children in New York City for many years, he relocated to Huntersville, NC where he and his wife Grace Ann settled. He was a devoted husband and a remarkable father and Grandfather to his children and grandchildren. He spent countless hours taking care of family. Emile loved and enjoyed life.
Emile accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He truly loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, soul and strength. His passion for the things of God was evident as he began to get closer and closer to God. He stayed in the word daily and would encourage others to do the same. He had an amazing zeal for God.
Emile leaves a beautiful family who will always love, appreciate, and cherish his memory. Thus, he leaves his wife Grace Ann, loving children, Marlon, Crystal, Shomari, Sean, Kalfani, Deja and Elijah. Grandchildren, Husani, Emily, Jayla, D’Andra, and Caylin. Niece, Schlisa, Sister Laverne, Brother Ian and a host of other relatives. His mother Winiefred Kornegay and father Coran Rowe preceded him in death.
Emile’s heart was gigantic. We will still hear his voice. Our world will continue to pulsate with the rhythm and memory of his love, patience, kindness, generosity, and humor. So join us in Thanksgiving for his sojourn amongst us and in celebrating him having touched us in so many ways.
