November 12, 1951 – March 7, 2021
Carol was a loving soul. One full of love, and light. A smile so bright, the sun would ask it for a ray or two from time to time.
Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved to give. Every Christmas, it was her thing to find someone in need, and give to them. She would randomly crochet baby blankets, or make baby clothes for families with newborn children. She also loved to give in the form of food, hugs, and love.
She never met a stranger, either. A warm smile and kind hello greeted everyone she met, no matter the time or place.
Born on November 12, 1951, Carol would meet her husband William (Andre) in July of 1968. They became married in that same year. In 1971, they had their first son, John. After relocating to Charlotte, NC (through the way of Columbia, SC), they had their second son Paul.
Roller skating, swimming, fishing, sewing, crocheting, Jeopardy, NASCAR, the Atlanta Braves, laughing – all these are things Carol loved, but she loved nothing more than her family. Her family was her heart and her light, and she theirs.
She also loved animals, cats, and dogs in particular. She had so much love to go around that it just simply couldn’t be contained on this plane any longer.
She leaves behind a legacy of light, love, and giving. Our lives are brighter for having known her, and more of an Angel we could not have been blessed with as a mother, wife, sister, and friend. Now she goes to walk with Jesus, and reunite with her sister Barbara (who passed away in their early teens). May she walk in eternal light and glory alongside our Creator.
Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Andre, her sons John, and Paul. Their wives – Stephanie and Barbara (respectively), and her sister Janet.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep on the 7th of March, 2021. May she Rest In Peace.
